What will be done for my pet?
What do I need to know before I bring my pet to a clinic for surgery? Most veterinarians require about the same things. But, always check with veterinary clinic where your pet is being spayed or neutered on what they require before surgery.
Some good rules to follow are:
Be on time for your appointment! If for some reason you cannot keep your appointment let us know so we can get another pet waiting for surgery in your place.
A dog MUST be on a leash
Each cat MUST be brought in clean, secure, and rigid cat carriers. Broken or damaged carriers will not be accepted. Please line the bottom of the pet carrier with newspaper for easier clean up When bringing cats bring each in its own carrier; if you bring two cats, bring two carriers
Aggressive animals may be turned away
Each pet will be examined by a veterinarian prior to surgery. If your pet is sick or considered a surgical risk, surgery will not be performed.
Limited financial assistance may be requested. at that time.
